Father and Sons

I love the feel of this photograph...I was actually standing in the water taking photographs of the 3 children when I looked up and noticed the guys all relaxing by the picnic table...I snapped a couple of quick shots and then went back to shooting the children.

I did photoshop out a couple of parked cars from the background and added the aged effect with a 60% sepia tint...Just wish I had a good zoom lens on the camera at the time so the image could have been sharper.

Family Session in the Mountains of GA

This past week we snuck away for a 4 day weekend in the mountains at my Mother and Father in-laws home...Since this was the first time in 6yrs most of the family was able to gather together in one place a family photo session was in order.

The beautiful Meeks Park provided a wonderful backdrop....and despite leaving the part of my tripod that attaches the camera to it at home, I did manage to get myself in a couple of the shots thanks to a well placed picnic table and my BIL lovely wife Melissa...The above photo was obviously not one of them lol.

My gorgeous husband, our littlest daughter and myself....Thank you Melissa, we will treasure this photo always. xox

Love this photo, she looks so sweet and angelic, even though moments before it was taken I removed her from a group set-up on the bridge because she was acting out...*sigh*

Can't wait to finish editing the rest of the photos and get them up on my walls.

Such a special bond a photographer mother and her child share...

Some days (most days) the last thing my child wants to do is pose for a photo, even on a special day like her Church Dedication...Needless to say, the photoshoot ended here lol.

Simply Sunday - Bean Snapper

Capturing simple family moments is why we all pickup a camera to begin with right?

My wee one loves helping in the kitchen, she is a great bean snapper as you can see...
