Family Photoshoot

I love when a family entrusts me to capture their precious moments for them.

I love even more to see the dad's relax despite the camera being pointed at them.

And the kids have so much fun they don't want to leave.

I love seeing parents and kiddies enjoying the time together with no stress or pressure.

There really is something wonderful about spending time together outside in a rural environment that makes it all feel like a family fun day.

And I would not have it any other way...

I was very encouraged by my first mini-session event...The Easter Booth was a big hit and I got lots of great photos of lots of gorgeous kiddies....I have been diligently editing away ever since....Here are just a few photos from the day.

What says spring more than lambs, chicks, ducklings and pink flowers?

 Ponytail posing with her duckling and chick friends, Saturday during our Easter/Spring photobooth...Hated to have to take her back to her sheep mommy on Sunday, she stole our hearts and left us with fond memories of her and my 3yr old daughter running and leaping around my living room Saturday night.

Simple Things Sunday

I had taken my camera with me to church today (don't we all do that?? )

Anyway with both kiddies dressed in their Sunday best and just happen to be color co-ordinated, before I took the photos I had brought my camera to take, I managed to capture some cute ones of the "Besties" sitting on the bench after church today.

This one is my fave..

It was such a precious moment, I asked Will to whisper a secret to Sara *click*...She smiled and looked at him and said..."I love you too"

*melt*

Truly the simplest things make us smile the most.

Since most of this week was spent emptying puke buckets or cleaning up...ummm the other end, there was not many moments I would really want to photograph and share with the world....

(though hubby might not be happy about it)

No better place for a sick little girl to be than cuddled up with daddy....

How far I have come...

I read a very interesting statement yesterday...

So with that in mind, I took a quick glance at some of my old raw images...

This was from my first photoshoot setup using a live person, my youngest daughter, re-edited  today using PSE10.

I am so excited to see how far I have come in such a short amount of time and can't wait to learn more and more....I hope you will continue on this journey with me.
